Naveen Tewari,
Chief Executive Officer
Naveen is the CEO and Founder of mKhoj. He founded the company in 2006.
Naveen brings with him rich experience in his field. His journey started with McKinsey & Company. There he worked on developing the go-to-market strategy for a large Indian conglomerate, as it entered the telecom sector. He also worked with the top management of number of large software companies and consumer product enterprises in India on various strategic issues.
Later, he joined Charles River Ventures, a top tier VC firm focusing on early stage investing in software and communications. Naveen worked with CRV on developing its India investment strategy.
He also briefly worked with a mobile VoIP start-up, vQube Inc, in Silicon Valley. vQube targeted various social networking companies and internet portals with its VoIP products.
He has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School (HBS) in Boston. At HBS, Naveen was the recipient of its highest honour “The Dean’s Award” given for his exceptional leadership and contribution. He obtained Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
Naveen is also the Founder & Chairman of a US based non-profit organization,India Schoolhouse Fund (ISF). ISF was formed to set-up schools in rural India. The organization started its operations earlier this year in the rural districts of Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. ISF started off with few friends from Harvard Business School and has now grown to have over 50 people across India and US. ISF is looking to scale its operations to target educating over 1 million students in 10 years.
 
 
Amit Gupta
Vice President, Business Development
Amit Gupta, a co-founder of mKhoj, is the VP-Business Development. Amit is a serial entrepreneur and had earlier founded a technology firm, Analyticsworks, focused on Business Intelligence. Prior to that Amit had worked in a Silicon Valley based start-up called Andale as Head of Business Strategy where he worked directly with the CEO to help initiate new areas of revenues for the company. Amit has had significant experience working as a technologist in Aditi and Citibank. Amit completed his undergraduate studies from IIT Kanpur.
 
 
Abhay Singhal
Vice President, Corporate Sales
Abhay Singhal, a co-founder of mKhoj, is the VP-Corporate Sales. Abhay has been an entrepreneur through out his career. He founded his first company as an undergraduate student in 2000, TeN and raised VC money shortly there after to grow the company significantly. He successfully exited the company in 2006 before moving to mKhoj. Abhay completed his undergraduate education at IIT Kanpur.
 
 
Mohit Saxena
Vice President, Technology
Mohit Saxena, Technology Founder, joined mKhoj as the Vice President of Technology. Mohit has extensive experience with US based telecom companies. Prior to joining mKhoj, Mohit was based out of the San Francisco Bay Area and managed the technology operations at Virgin Mobile, world's largest Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). At Virgin Mobile Mohit was instrumental in designing and deploying Post paid billing system and Revenue Recognition system on a Pre-paid platform. This platform allowed Virgin Mobile to create innovative products that simulated a post-paid payout on a pre-paid telecom model which helped Virgin Mobile to boost its subscriber base and made Virgin Mobile the largest and most successful MVNO in US. Prior to joining Virgin Mobile, Mohit worked at AT&T (formerly SBC) where he was the part of a newly formed SBC Long Distance team and managed several Calling Card and Artificial Intelligent Network Platforms. The efficiency of the system allowed SBC to become a formidable competitor against AT&T and MCI in the Long Distance telephony. Mohit is part of  several patents filed in the telecommunication area. Mohit completed his undergraduate education from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Roorkee). In addition, Mohit is an avid car enthusiast and believes it to be Man's best friend!!
 
 
Mukesh Kalra
Product Manager
Mukesh Kalra has joined mKhoj in the Product team. Prior to joining mKhoj, he was associated with A C Nielsen, where he worked with leading Indian companies in the online and retail space to devise actionable marketing & entry solutions for them. He also had a short stint with Pantaloon Retail where he was exposed to Store & Category management. His specific focus has been on the sunrise industries of Retail, Telecom & Internet. An Engineer and MBA from Mumbai University, Mukesh joined mKhoj when the 'Entrepreneur' bug hit him. He loves to explore new things in all walks of life. Music and catching movies with friends are his favourite stressbusters.
 
 
Santosh Navlani
Manager - Marketing & Enterprise Accounts
Santosh is responsible for Ad Sales and Marketing at mKhoj. An Engineer and MBA from Mumbai University, Santosh was earlier a core member of the start-up team at lifestyle and entertainment search portal, burrp.com. Before burrp! Santosh worked with DIREM Mumbai (now split into Cartesian Consulting and Direxions) where he specialized in offering one-2-one marketing & CRM solutions to DIREM'S clients across industry verticals. Through his past experience at DIREM and burrp! Santosh brings in a marketer's perspective from all 3 dimensions - An Advertiser, A Direct Marketing Agency and the Media Company to help mKhoj's clients devise highly targeted mobile marketing campaigns.
